We are extending our DMR Tier III network and associated digital inter-site linking. Support for analogue conventional, DMR Tier II, and point-to-multipoint radio services is also required.

Mount Campbell Communications Ltd is a specialist Mobile Radio provider supplying radio communications solutions across the top of the South Island.

We are seeking a Radio Equipment Installer, based Nelson to carry out installations into vehicles, machinery and customer premises of the following products;

Mobile Radio Telephones GPS Navigation, and Vehicle Location Cellular Telephone Coverage and Handsfree Solutions Specialist vehicle mounted electronic equipment.

You will also support our radio technicians from time to time on the implementation of site infrastructure and fault response.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and background in the automotive electronics industry with an interest in Radio Communications. The ability to work unsupervised as well as work in a team environment, and represent our company with confidence and professionalism are a must. We value technological competence and attention to detail.

This role would suit an experienced auto electrician or similar and additional job training will be provided.

You will have the capacity to work quickly and efficiently, with good organizational and planning skills. You will enjoy the customer contact and getting out and about to clients sites.

Hours of work are Mon–Fri, 8am-5pm with the occasional flexibility to adjust hours to suit customer requirements. Company vehicle provided limited to travel to and from work.
